Professional Statement
After residency, Dr. Nemes started at Daly City Podiatry Group. She also worked part time as an assistant professor in the surgery department of the California School of Podiatric Medicine. During her time with the school she served the underprivileged population at Alameda County Medical Center, Highland Campus in Oakland, California. She spent her time teaching students and residents while treating a vast variety of ailments. It was an experience she greatly enjoyed. She is now full time at Daly City Podiatry Group. She enjoys the variety of patients she sees from children to adults. She treats all ailments of the foot and ankle including but not limited to ingrown toenails, wound care, at-risk toenail and callus care, broken toes/feet/ankles, fungal and bacterial infections, flatfeet and high-arched feet, bunions and hammertoes. She does office procedures, such as removing ingrown toenails and warts and casting for orthotics and diabetic shoes along with procedures in the operating room. She works with patients to devise plans suitable for the individual person as well as their ailment.
Personal Statement
Dr. Nemes spent her early childhood moving around a lot while her father was in the Navy. When he retired, the family settled in Apalachin, a small town in upstate New York. She spent much of her childhood working in her parents' antique store in Owego, New York and working at an auction house. This is where she learned the value of customer service, which she incorporates into her practice. After graduating from Owego Free Academy, she moved to Virginia where she went to college. There, she met her husband. She is happily married with 2 young boys. She is a member of the Pacifica Mother's Club. She loves spending her time with her husband and children. She enjoys watching college football, particularly her alma mater, Virginia Tech. She also enjoys playing tennis and tackling computer projects. Her weekends are often spent hiking trails in the bay area, particularly along the beach. |
